I allowed myself a day without studying.
The weather was bad.
I was tired.
I watched Grey's Anatomy.

Rewarding.

I finally finished one assignment for my finance course. It took a while. And it's only worth one fifth of the grade, wonder how long next exam will take since that one counts for 40 %. I've heard it's not that easy. Not what I want to hear.
Ish.
Can't they just pass me. I only need the points from the course so I fulfill the requirements for getting the study allowances. Do I have to learn something as well?

i love cheesecake

Yesterday I baked a cheesecake. It was mother's day but I'm also trying to find a recipe of a cheesecake that is similar to the one I've had at Coffee Bean in Singapore. It's delish! I'm forever comparing every cheesecake I'm trying to that one. It had similar texture but not the same taste, but I'm heading in the right direction. I should get to know someone at Coffee Bean so I can get the recipe. Or is someone up for some insider trading? Anyone?

no more pashminas and woolen socks

There's not much going on around here. Not much at all. Just trying to study. It's going a little bit better but it's always difficult when it's a new subject. I thought I would like finance, but I don't think it's something for me. We'll see when I've actually finished the course.

At least the weather is getting better, there's sunshine and about 20 degrees now. And after three weeks I've finally gotten used to the weather so now I'm not freezing as much anymore. Hopefully I don't have to wear my thick socks and scarves indoors.

Happy mother's day mom!

Yeay. It's time. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I've missed it. The day has come and I'm gonna watch Grey's Anatomy and catch up with what I've missed. One of the few TV series I actually follow and in Singapore we didn't have a TV (and no ability to download...). Nobody tells me what have happened!

my home is where my bed is

Always when coming home to the house where I grew up, I never feel really at home. I guess it somehow changed a little when I moved to Jkpg and my sister took my room. So every time I come home to visit my family I have to stay in my sister's old room with furniture and stuff that I don't really like. The thing is that I took a lot of my things with me when I moved so I don't even have my own bed her (I miss my big, lovely bed that is 140 cm wide and now I have to make do with a 90 cm one...). It's like coming home to something that's not longer your home. You feel it so much more when you don't have your old room and your things there. It's just a place where you stay for a while. However, today I did some small changes so it feels a little bit better. I have new curtains and I cleaned out the room and threw out all the crap that wasn't my crap.

Still, I just have my apartment in mind. My place. With all my things. And my lovely bed.
